Have you heard about the water, pepper, and soap experiment?
I was having a difficult time helping my 7-year-old understand the importance of washing his hands properly, so I decided to give this experiment a try- and it worked like a charm!
It is a very simple but effective way to teach children how washing their hands with soap keeps the germs away!
Below is the video we made documenting the experiment. Let me tell you that since then, my son even started counting to 20 (advice from his elementary school teacher) while washing his hands! He also makes sure to wash every finger, as well as the top and bottom of his hands. That definitely wasn’t done before we did this experiment together- at least not here at home!
Give it a try and share your pics or videos with us!
