Applicant must have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from Accredited University

  • Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with Required Special Education Endorsements for Assignments/Subjects

  • 2+ Years Classroom Teaching Experience Required in Special Education Environment

  • An understanding/skills teaching students with Learning Differences, ADD/ADHD, Mood Disorders, and students on the Autistic Spectrum

  • Ability to take initiative, be flexible and think outside the box, creative and resilient with engaging students in learning experience, and problem solve with a dynamic population

  • Develop individualized lessons plans specific to lab oriented, experiential learning

  • Possess the ability to deliver traditional and innovative instruction
